Cindy Carr
President
Ms. Carr, along with her husband Jon Carr, has been the co-owner of Advanced Piping Products, Inc., since 1998. Following Mr. Carr’s passing in early 2011, Ms. Carr assumed the position of president and has directed the company’s expansion to meet the growing needs of its many domestic and international customers. Ms. Carr has been around the oil and gas business most of her life. Her first 17 years before attending college in New York were spent in Saudi Arabia as the granddaughter of an ARAMCO driller and the daughter of an ARAMCO engineer, who served the company for 35 years.
Carrie Carr Reese
Executive Vice President, CFO
Mrs. Reese manages financial risks of the company, provides strategic insight and oversees company operations. She provides strategic leadership to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies of the organization in accordance with the corporation’s charter. She travels regularly to client locations around the world to learn about corrosion issues and the cultural nuances of APP clients. Prior to joining the company, she worked as an investment operations analyst for SCS Financial in Boston, where she was responsible for documentation and reporting tasks for active accounts valued at more than $6 billion. She also held the position of fund accountant at State Street Bank in Boston, where her work entailed research, analysis and processing for complex securities transactions.
L. G. “Bo” Walters
Senior Vice President
Mr. Walters has worked in the oil and gas industry for more than 30 years. As senior vice president, he directs, administers, and coordinates the activities of the organization in support of policies, goals, and objectives established by the president and executive vice president. He is responsible for the development, production, marketing promotion, and financial aspects of the organization’s products and services. Under his direction, both short-range and long-range plans and budgets are developed and maintained based on corporate goals and growth objectives. Mr. Walters plays a leadership role in training marketing staff, as well as coordinating research and development staff with clients’ requirements.
Bill Godsey
General Manager
Mr. Godsey brings to APP more than 40 years of management experience in diverse fields including the aerospace, petro chemical, oil and gas, power, and food and beverage industries. His current duties with APP include overseeing day to operations, product development and the management of internal and large domestic sales. Mr. Godsey helped write the first APP wear pad catalog in 1994 and remains intimately familiar with APP’s extensive product line.
Yulman Flores
Project Manager
Mr. Flores has carried several titles while at APP, most recently serving as project manager to ensure the success of client projects from their earliest stages through implementation. He also serves in a business development role and oversees existing and potential business avenues and applications for APP products. Having spent five years alongside APP’s founder, Jon Carr, Mr. Flores has a wealth of knowledge regarding APP’s products. He leverages his relationships with clients to understand their specific requirements and guide APP’s staff in solving their corrosion problems.
Monica Chauviere
Engineering Consultant / Senior Non-Metallic Materials Specialist
Ms. Chauviere is a mechanical engineer who provides APP with deep technical expertise in engineering and market development. Prior to working with APP, she spent 31 years working for ExxonMobil’s Research and Engineering division in Baytown, Texas, where her career focused exclusively on refinery fixed equipment. She has specialized knowledge of non-metallic materials for downstream facilities, including refractory materials, coatings/linings, thermal insulation, and passive fireproofing. She has traveled extensively for ExxonMobil on assignments specific to corrosion issues. Ms. Chauviere is a major contributor to the North American Corrosion Association, having authored multiple articles, and continues to play a leadership role by chairing various committees.
Bob Logan
Senior Advisor
Mr. Logan, a registered professional chemical engineer, advises APP personnel on methods and materials to satisfy unique customer needs in the area of plastics and corrosion protection. He has more than 45 years of experience in the petrochemical industry, having specialized in pipe coatings and related products for most of that time. Mr. Logan’s career includes 25 years with Baker-Hughes Tubular Services, Inc., where he advanced through various technical and leadership positions. He has also worked in the area of third-party vendor inspection and operated his own consulting firm, all of which utilized his extensive knowledge of project management and quality assurance in piping systems. Mr. Logan has been instrumental in guiding several APP products through the patent process and will continue this responsibility for future products.
